This key strategic position carries responsibility for coordinating and implementing the City’s Strategic Land-use Plans.
We are seeking a tertiary qualified professional in Urban Planning, Urban Design or Architecture with at least seven years’ urban development or planning experience supported by knowledge of Strategic and Statutory Planning in NSW.
You will display an innate ability to drive and develop a wide range of strategic planning documents such as the CBD Master Plan, Precinct Plans for the Health and Knowledge Precinct and Northern Growth area of the City, among a wide range of other initiatives. We seek someone with a proven ability to think strategically, holistically and creatively to deliver complex outcomes. Your outstanding written skills will be supported by capability to collaborate, build and maintain a cohesive and positive organisational culture, influence and lead change and maintain outstanding stakeholder relationships.
Working closely with Strategic Planning Officers reporting to this position, your focus will be on achieving optimal organisational and community outcomes from excellent service delivery.
