Our client, SA Housing Authority (SAHA) is an independent statutory corporation responsible for developing, implementing and providing public housing services for people who are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness, and works with other government and non-government organisations to improve the standard of, and access to, housing across the State.

The role of Executive Director, Portfolio Planning and Asset Management plays a crucial role in achieving SAHA’s strategic objectives through the provision of high-level negotiations, documentation and management of large and high value property related projects and partnerships. Commerciality, stakeholder engagement and political acumen will define the success of this unique leadership appointment in continuing to strengthen the public housing system in South Australia.

This role will offer the appointee broad scope, diversity and the opportunity to enact significant change in the facilitation and delivery of key public housing outcomes. Demonstrable experience in managing a large housing portfolio with proven success in leading and driving a culture of high-performance, collaboration and innovation will ultimately underpin SAHA’s capacity to optimise a range of housing and financial objectives. Applications are sought from experienced executives with notable leadership presence and considerable familiarity delivering projects and partnering with the housing sector, property development sector, relevant government bodies and the building industry more broadly.  Understanding of and experience in property development, house construction and asset/facilities management will also be of key benefit in driving strategic outcomes in this role.

An outstanding communicator at all levels, your professional expertise, credibility within the industry and capacity to contribute to strategic decision-making initiatives will complement your intellectual gravitas in driving change and supporting the delivery of affordable housing outcomes for South Australia.
