The opportunity is now available for a Nurse Unit Manager to utilise their expert clinical knowledge and experience to coordinate the delivery of high quality patient care services for the Jamestown Hospital and Health Service.  Reporting to the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for ensuring the coordination and leadership of activities to achieve continuity and excellence in patient care through the implementation of quality improvement processes; contribution towards corporate requirements; and provision of contemporary and evidence-based decision making, innovative thinking and objective analysis of practices to improve service delivery.  

We are seeking a highly effective and strategic leader who can demonstrate an outstanding level of efficiency, influence and collaboration, fostering a positive work culture of high-performance and continuous development. You will be flexible and innovative in your approach to work and possess strong communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

It is a requirement for the appointee to be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
