Multiple Roles Available | Support South Australian Veterans
Our client, Veterans SA is the lead South Australian Government agency advocating for matters relating to veterans and their families. Veterans SA works with ex-service organisations and civic groups that provide support to members of the community when and where it is needed most.
The Veterans’ Advisory Council provides independent advice to the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs on matters of importance to the ex-service community in South Australia and is made up of individuals from the South Australian veteran community, as well as representatives from the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force.
The opportunity exists for members from the veteran community to offer their expertise, learnings and advice by joining the Veterans’ Advisory Council at a critically important time.
We seek expressions of interests from people located in both Metropolitan and Regional SA, for the position of Independent Chair and multiple Advisory Council Member positions. Applications are encouraged from people who have a broad range of knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the veteran community, and who can demonstrate an understanding of the matters that affect veterans and their families.
The “veteran community” is inclusive of veterans and their families and other supporters with a direct link to a Service or a veteran, therefore it is not a requirement to be a veteran to fulfil the responsibilities of the roles.
If you are motivated to make a positive contribution within the veteran community in South Australia and are willing to commit your time and share your relevant expertise and experience to achieve better outcomes for veterans, your application is welcomed.
Candidate Briefing Notes are available by selecting 'View Position Description' in the job advertisement at https://www.stillwellmanagement.com.au/jobs

Telephone enquiries to Nick Stillwell are welcome on (+618) 8212 0999.
