Our client, Willunga Waldorf School opened in 1989 as a kindergarten and is now a fully comprehensive Kindergarten to Year 12 School. Based on Rudolph Steiner’s philosophy of education, the School provides a rich curriculum and innovative teaching methods to nurture students. Learning is supported by artistic and hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and generate enthusiasm for learning.

A unique opportunity is now available for a proactive and experienced professional with a sound level of technical knowledge and expertise to support the day-to-day operations of all HR administrative functions within the school. Your contribution and input will be felt across numerous aspects of this interesting and supportive environment and will provide invaluable assistance in the successful functioning of all human resource related activities. 

It is expected that the successful applicant will have the potential to contribute to a range of strategic initiatives including short and long-term planning, the development and implementation of policies and processes as well as other key legislative and policy-based priorities. The role will be balanced with several hands-on, practical tasks that will require a level of pragmatism, focus and resilience in delivering on a broad array of administrative based duties to support the School’s leadership group.

An appreciation of Steiner philosophy will add insight and value as you engage with teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the broader school community.

To effectively perform the key functions of this important role, it is thought that the appointee will display a solid level of experience, ideally supported by appropriate qualifications and a broad, yet considered outlook. Well-developed interpersonal communication skills will be critical and support your suitability for appointment in this exciting and holistic environment.
