We are seeking a Director of Nursing and Midwifery to provide outstanding strategic and operational leadership, governance and direction for the Nursing and Midwifery services within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN).

Based 130km north of Adelaide in Clare, this key leadership position will ensure the development and implementation of frameworks and systems within which nursing and midwifery employees practise, and on monitoring and evaluating clinical practice and service delivery standards. 

With scope for this role to extend beyond services other than nursing and midwifery, you will be a strategic, highly effective and networked leader and manager, and be experienced in leading and influencing your workforce based on your blend of leadership and operational skills. 

Reporting to the Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery and working closely with the executive and senior clinical and management personnel, you will be a dynamic, practical, pragmatic leader who can demonstrate an outstanding level of efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration in order for your team to achieve strategic and operational goals.

It is a requirement for applicants to be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
