Our client, Teagle Excavations, has been serving the South-East of South Australia for over 60 years. Based in Millicent, Teagle is a family-owned and operated medium-sized earthmoving business specialising in civil construction, forestry and agricultural civil works, marine construction and dredging, and quarrying from company-owned quarries.

The outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join the organisation to assist in the design, development and construction of a vast range of projects from conception through to completion. A primary focus of this role will be to provide on-site expertise to the operations team undertaking roadworks and culvert bridge construction.

As an open and honest communicator, your pragmatic and natural interpersonal style and proven aptitude for engineering solutions will come to the fore in this critically important position. Monitoring construction and maintenance works in line with quality programs and providing technical advice to team members, management, contractors and clients will be pivotal to this role. You will proactively plan, coordinate and track assigned project tasks and drive a customer first ethos by the way you manage contracts and the tendering process for new business.

Spending much of your time at project sites, you will be valued as a team player and respected not only for your knowledge of systems, practices, standards, guidelines, processes and materials but additionally for your ability to step in and be hands on when it counts. 

Interest is sought from self-motivated, dynamic and highly organised qualified civil engineering professionals with at least 5 years’ experience and a passion for driving positive customer outcomes.
