Our client has a significant presence in the industrial sector with a key focus on the supply, repair and maintenance of key consumable products.
We are seeking an Account Representative to join a team of dedicated professionals to service their current network of key customers throughout South Australia. With an innate passion for stakeholder engagement, customer satisfaction and developing new customer relationships, your success will be defined through the provision of exceptional service and the management of significant and critical business partnerships that feed into local and national accounts.
The role demands strong technical aptitude along with an unwavering commitment to safety, performance and the provision of value-added support and advice. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will blend time “on site” in regional and metro locations with time spent in their State based office north of the CBD. You will enjoy the variety that a role of this nature brings and be proactive and effective in liaising with customers to achieve continued market share.
Interest is sought from experienced Account Representatives with a professional yet practical outlook combined with excellent time management and planning skills, strong problem-solving capabilities and high level oral and written communications skills. Proposal, tender and contract preparation will also form a key element of this role and will require a high level of attention to detail, strong computer literacy and solid presentation skills.
A Degree and/or Trade qualification(s) will be favourably considered in conjunction with “hands-on” experience in a similar position. B2B Account Management experience is desirable.
Intrastate travel will be required.
